DTE Energy says about 105,000 of its customers are still in the dark Friday morning as crews work 16-hour shifts to restore electricity. Today's forecast calls for high to reach 101 degrees.

Wayne County Sheriffs were out in full force Thursday, keeping neighborhoods safe and helping citizens on Detroit's west side deal with massive power losses.

Lumberjack Building Center is a family run hardware store on 23 Mile Road in New Baltimore. They had no power Wednesday evening, but they were open anyway serving the community's no power needs.
