I am a Michigan native and I am extremely thrilled to be back working in Southeast Michigan. I was born in Southfield and raised in Commerce Township. I received my two meteorology degrees from Michigan State University and Mississippi State University.

I started my TV career at WLNS-Channel 6 in Lansing, Michigan as the Weekend Meteorologist. While working in Lansing I also traveled nationwide working as an Auto Show Model/Product Specialist.

Before coming to FOX 2, I was the Weekend Meteorologist and Feature Reporter at WBFF-FOX 45 in Baltimore, Maryland. As their Feature Reporter, I covered numerous community events from roller skating with the Charm City Roller Girls to promoting local bands raising money for breast cancer awareness.

The main weather event that I will never forget while working in Baltimore was the TWO back-to-back Nor'easters of 2010. Just from those two storms alone, Baltimore received over 55 inches of snow! Baltimore also broke the record for seasonal snowfall totals that year. Growing up in Michigan, I always saw a lot of snow accumulate throughout the entire winter season, but I have NEVER seen that much snow accumulate in a 5 day period. It was an amazing event to witness both personally and as a Meteorologist.

I am extremely happy to be back in my hometown and forecasting for all four seasons that Michigan has to offer. I will not only be part of the FOX 2 Weather Authority, but I will also be on the streets covering "Made in Michigan" segments.

I'm also excited to be able eat at my favorite Detroit Metro Coney Islands and restaurants; Jet's Pizza, Louie's Pizza and Red Coat Tavern. When I'm not at work or at one of my favorite restaurants, you can find me spending time with my husband.
