(WJBK) - FOX 2, 96.3 WDVD and the Detroit Pistons are teaming up with Volunteers of America Michigan to ensure that low-income children return to school with all the supplies they need.
Help us stuff a bus full of new backpacks and school supplies for children in need!
Between August 5-7, you can bring a donation of backpacks and school supplies to help fill up school buses at three drop locations:
Direct Optical in Canton
Located on Ford Rd, between Haggerty & Lilley
(41840 Ford Road)
Metro PCS in Taylor
Located on Eureka at Pardee
(23013 Eureka Road)
Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights
Located on Hall Rd, just east of Schoenherr
(14600 Lakeside Circle)
Can’t make it to the Stuff-A-Bus initiative? Volunteers of America also invites the public to support Michigan’s low-income children and their families by bringing a new backpack filled with school supplies to one of the many Operation Backpack drop-off locations, including all Co-op Services Credit Union locations and Mr. Alan’s stores from August 8-14. Donations also will also be accepted at the Volunteers of America Michigan administration office (21415 Civic Center Drive, Suite 210, Southfield, MI 48076).
