Quake on the Lake Happens July 16-17

(WJBK) - The tradition is set to continue in a bigger way than ever before when the "Quake On The Lake" hosts the 2011 Inboard Hydroplane National Championships July 16th and 17th on Pontiac Lake.  This is the first time in 42 years that the National Championships will be held in Michigan. More than 150 race teams from across North America are expected to attend which is the largest amount of teams in the history of the event!

Racing on the water, and loads of summertime fun on the land - including national headlining musical entertainment.

For 11 years, Quake on the Lake has raised funds for local charities like the Rainbow Connection! They grant wishes for children with life-threatening or terminal illnesses.
