Labor Day is fast approaching and that means the return of the annual Arts, Beat and Eats festival. Wednesday, an exciting musical lineup was announced for this year's event.
More than 200 bands will perform on nine stages. Country superstar Clint Black will close out the event the night of Monday, September 6th on the national stage.
Saving Abel, Candlebox and Sponge will perform on Friday, September 3rd.
Kenny Wayne Shepherd will headline the entertainment on Saturday, September 4th, and Macy Gray will appear on Sunday, September 5th.
Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson calls it a "quality event".
"We expect we'll have about a $10-million economic impact here in town on the various merchants and stores that will benefit from thousands and thousands of people walking through the festival," said Patterson.
