SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - In honor of National MS Awareness Week (March 8 -14,) the National Multiple Sclerosis Society will launch "We Keep Moving," a 10-week cross-country search to tell the stories of people living with MS.
"We Keep Moving" will share a new story and video each week at www.wekeepmoving.org
Each story and location will be determined by a public vote - every week three stories and locations will be highlighted on the site for voters to select the next week's story and destination.
The road crew, including filmmaker Jason DaSilva and producer Kate Milliken, share a common bond: they are living with MS and are on their own journeys to share what it means to live with MS. They will be chronicling their journey through various social media outlets.
DaSilva and Milliken join FOX 2 to talk about the project and how they hope to connect all those affected by MS.
Multiple sclerosis affects more than 400,000 people in the U.S. and over 2.1 million worldwide. For every person living with MS, there is a compelling story about how they move forward with their lives and address the challenges raised by this chronic illness.
