Several Metro Detroit Beaches Closed

High bacteria levels in the water is putting a damper on the Fourth of July fun at several local beaches.

The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality lists these closings along Lake Saint Clair.

The Blossom Heath Beach and Memorial Park Beach, both in St. Clair Shores, are closed. In Grosse Pointe Farms, the beach at the Crescent Sail Yacht Club is also closed.
