Doctors could someday have a new way of determining your chance for a heart attack, and all it takes is a hair sample.
Canadian researchers found the stress hormone cortisol can be measured in hair, which provides a long-term record of chronic stress.
The researchers took hair samples from more than 100 hospitalized men and found cortisol levels were significantly higher in men that had heart attacks.
