A Job Shop Review of 'Horrible Bosses'

myFOX Job Shop - Stupid but funny -- the four boss types are real! I know because I've worked with each one of those horrible bosses during my career. (no, not now--this is a much happier time--seriously --you think I'd be that dumb to detail horrible bosses if those jokers were still here?)

Maybe you've had the misfortune of horrible bosses. The movie shows us four of these idiots. (More on the movie Horrible Bosses, Kirk Vanderbeek Review>> )

The incompetent one--can't see reality because there's a warped perception of the workplace. (my way or no way and I know I'm always right... and if I'm not, at least I'm the boss!)

The bully--likes to beat up on people--kind of makes you think this boss type used to beat up his teddy bear at age three. I know one boss who actually put his name on someone else's work and then told them they never did it!!! Honest!

The boss who has visions of the company's long term future but never takes time to develop a written plan of succession, and so when he/she is gone the place goes to hell. Business pros tell me this happens all the time especially with small businesses.

The lude/crude executive who thinks employees can be used for 'outside of office' pleasures.

For the record, business consultants contend the best boss has these qualities:

1. Let's people be creative
2. Always takes responsibility
3. Does not place blame
4. Never lies to the troops.
