Part-Time HR/Recruiting Assistant - Temp to Hire

Part time assistant (10 to 20 hrs week) to mainly assist with recruiting but also some general HR assistant duties.

Main skills would be:
Experience with social media recruiting: LinkedIn, posting on sites, etc.
Internet and computer savvy: word, excel, PowerPoint, at least mid level
General knowledge of HR laws, particularly related to hiring
$15 - $29 a hour

Sales Representative - Direct Hire

Looking for someone who has sales experience and a grinding background. Prefer 3 years experience, degree isn’t necessary. Client sells grinders and application work. They do surface grinding, high tolerance, special machines. Each of their machines costs 500K and the turnaround time a company can expect the machine is about a year as each machine is specially made in Japan. They will need to generate new business primarily through any means they can, cold calling, follow ups, but they will inherit a territory. The territory will be the mid west EXCEPT for MI. Indiana, Ohio, Iowa, Illinois. Expected travel 50% of the time. Ability to read part drawings. Many companies have Applications Engineers who interpret the drawings for the Sales Reps, but this Sales Rep will need to be able to read and interpret the drawings on their own. Must be fluent in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint as well as AutoCAD. Base Salary $40k-50k w/ $15k-$20k Commission.

Customer Service Representative - Direct Hire

This is a higher level customer service position. We are looking for candidates with order entry/order processing experience.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
To obtain, enter and manage entire customer sales order process including logistics, freight and inventory management programs. Orders or Inventory management programs are received directly from the Customer or through a member of the Sales Team. Responsible for providing friendly, high quality customer service to all customers with goal of achieving Total Customer Satisfaction through the effective management of the Sales Order Process. This would include receiving, investigating and responding to all customer and sales staff inquires regarding orders, status of shipments, product information, availability of inventory, complaints and inventory management programs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Predictable and dependable attendance is required
Serve as a customer advocate within the company to ensure total customer satisfaction
Enter Customer orders and respond to phone and fax inquires for information as it relates to orders or shipments
Proactively manage custom stock, blank PO’s and consignment inventory programs with goal of reducing the risk of both stock-outs and aged inventory.
Manage freight consolidation efforts for sales orders and work with sales to develop ways of reducing freight
Keep ISO logs up to date for identified areas
Adhere to the 2 hour call back policy
Issue proper paperwork for Returns and Credit Memos when required
Become familiar with all products; learn the product line and specifics of each account
Responsible for maintaining Quality Customer Service in accordance with Company Core Values
Develop and maintain positive relationship with assigned accounts and account managers
Responsible for continuous team improvement as it applies to meeting the needs of our customers
Document all complaints regarding personnel or product and forward to the Customer Service Manager
Provide backup to other Customer Service Representatives in their absence
Follow detailed work instructions
Travel with Account Managers

KNOWLEDGE / TRAINING / SKILL and/or ABILITY

At least two (2) years of customer service experience is required. In addition, a 4-year college degree is preferred or additional comparable work experience. Experience in an industry related customer service department is preferred. Individual must always practice a high level of integrity in their daily work routine and maintain a professional and positive demeanor at all times. Proficient in the use of all Microsoft® Office software: Word, Excel, Outlook and Access. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize daily tasks. The ability to assume responsibility for projects, exercise initiative and judgment, then implement actions without direct supervision. The ability to read and interpret, and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in writing, oral or diagram form using documents such as procedure manuals, work instructions, and software manuals. Effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate to a variety of different audiences. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure,

using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Salary $35k-$45k

CMM Programmer - Temp to Hire

Looking for someone with PC-DMIS software experience. Company produces complex parts: gears, shafts, and other precision components. Experience with programming these types of components is a must. Additional requirements include understanding of GD&T, familiar with PPAP requirements; experience with MCOSMOS coordinate measurement software; capability of programming from prints and CAD files; able to perform capability studies; understanding of gear geometry. A technical Degree and 3 years in a machining environment or equivalent experience required. PC-DMIS experience is important. $19-$25/hr (Salary $40k - $52K)

CNC Lathe and Mill Setup Operators - $15.50 per hour - Long term/Temp to Hire

Hiring for day (6AM-6PM) and night (6PM-6AM) shifts. These are 12 hour shifts Monday-Friday, some Saturdays may be required.

Purpose and Scope

Must be able to operate with a high degree of accuracy CNC horizontal and vertical mill(s), and/or CNC horizontal lathe(s) for the machining of defense and commercial related components, which will later be assembled into a complete unit or shipped to the customer as a stand alone product.

Responsibilities

Shall meet required production standards on small and large batch runs while making a continuous effort to improve cycle time and report any inaccuracies or abnormal situations to supervision.
Review and understand job travelers, process instructions, and Quality check sheets.
Must be Quality focused, self-starter, and willing to work as a team with co-workers.
Measures work pieces carefully using Machinist tools and recognizes when a process is out of control.
Must have normal vision to: inspect product to specifications and use measurement gauges.
Abides by company policies and procedures as well as the doctrines of ISO and QS 9000.
Maintain accurate part counts on job travelers and labor tickets.
Must be pro-active with safety and hazardous conditions.
Must be able to operate overhead cranes when necessary.
Load and unload parts.
Remain in a standing position for extended periods of time while using hands and arms frequently.
Bend or stoop repeatedly over time.
May operate more than one machine simultaneously.
Lifting objects up to 50 pounds may be required.
Work overtime as necessary.
Must have basic Machinist and Mechanic tools.
Must be able to analysis if a tool is worn and perform minor tool changes.
Follows a predetermined preventative maintenance program on the equipment.
Read and comprehends basic mathematics.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

*Need to have their own tools: Grinders, sanders, drills, extension cords

High school diploma and a minimum of two (2) years related work experience as a CNC Lathe Operator in a metal working environment or have equivalent combination of relevant education and / or experience.
