myFOXDetroit.com Staff - A 9-year old Tigers fan had a dream come true Saturday.

He got to meet members of his favorite team and throw out the first pitch at Comerica Park.

Paul Sipiala has a form of cancer that affects the soft tissues of his body. Through the Make A Wish Foundation, Sipiala's dream of meeting Miguel Cabrera and the other Tigers became a reality.

He lives in Hawaii but because of his family in Saginaw, Sipiala has became an avid Tigers fan. He plays baseball himself and considers the sport an important part of his life.

Fox 2's Ron Savage has more on the 9-year old's trip to Detroit.
