It's a big weekend in Detroit for live music. The International Jazz Festival begins tonight through Monday, September 6th. Fox 2's own Allan Lee with emcee opening night festivities.
The Detroit International Jazz Festival is the largest free jazz festival in North America and a major tourist attraction for the City of Detroit, with 23 percent of its audience coming from out of state. It has a $90 million economic impact on Detroit and showcases the city in its most positive light.

Jazz recording artist, Tia Fuller stopped by the Fox 2 studios on Friday morning to give us a sneak peak at what we can expect to hear over the weekend. The Tia Fuller Quartet is set to perform on Saturday at 2:30pm on the Waterfront Stage.
