myFOXDetroit.com - She was a corporate suit in New York City, now she's simply Suzanne, as in, "Simply Suzanne" Granola.
Suzanne Vier is growing her company statewide in Michigan and nationally from a super secret recipe.
Fox 2 Cameras took a tour at a location in Westland where they were only able to show certain aspects of the process of the ingredients. Fridays are for packaging and workers scoop and fill bags by hand. Vier says "We believe in our product, and I thought we had something really unique and different."
Now the company delivers to leading grocery stores in Michigan and five other states, names like Kroger, Whole Foods, Holiday and Meijer.
Not only is Simply Suzanne turning out a Michigan made product, the company is also looking to add more people. Vier says they are hiring employees with sales and marketing experience to perform in-store demos.
