SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - FOX 2's Andrea Isom makes her family's recipe for fruit ambrosia salad.
Ingredients:
15 1/4 oz. (1 can) fruit cocktail
8 oz. (1 can) mandarin oranges
8 oz. (1 can) pineapple tiblets
3 cups miniature marshmallows
2 cups whipped topping
(optional = chopped walnuts & coconut)
Method:
Drain canned fruit
Mix all ingredients together in mixing bowl (gently/lightly)
Add coconuts/walnuts (optional)
Place Ambrosia in serving dishes/bowls
Chill in refrigerator at least 2 hours (best if chilled
overnight)
