MONROE, Mich. (WJBK) - It's a recipe brought over from Greece nearly one hundred years ago. And today, Spillson's is still making their famous rice pudding in Monroe, Mich.
According to owner John Spillson, the company pumps out around 1,000 pounds of rice pudding a week using local eggs and local, hormone-free milk from Calder's Dairy in Lincoln Park.
FOX 2's Jessica Starr recently visited the Monroe factory for this edition of Made in Michigan. Click the video player to watch.
You can find Spillson's rice pudding at your local Whole Foods Market, Nino Salvaggio's, Hiller's and many other locations .
