(WJBK) - The nation's largest cherry celebration returns to Traverse City, Mich. this July.

The National Cherry Festival runs July 2-9, 2011. Executive Director Tim Hinkley appeared on The Nine Thursday to make Michigan Cherry Smoothies and talk about the festival.
