Quake on the Lake Feeds Your Need for Speed

(myFOXDetroit.com Staff Reports) - The annual Quake on the Lake returns for its 11th year. The event features 100 of the best inboard hydroplane racers in the world in Waterford. The event  finishes up today.

Quake on the Lake will also feature live music, a carnival and midway; great fun for the entire family and kids of all ages.

The musical lineup includes: Mark Farner, former lead singer for Grand Funk Railroad, The Tubes, Night Ranger, Shotgun Willie, PHX, Swampside, The Strict, Audio Artillery, Zooropa, Mid-Life Crisis, Send More Cops, Dave Hamilton and Love Junkies.

Ticket prices for Saturday and Sunday are $10 for adults, $5 for kids between the ages of 5 and 12 and children 4 and younger will be admitted free of charge.

All net proceeds will benefit The Rainbow Connection, a charity that grants wishes to kids with terminal or life threatening illnesses, and other community grass-root initiatives.
