Detroit Science Center Announces Ford FREE FunDays

Weekend of Warmth Supports WWJ Newsradio

DETROIT, Mich. - The Detroit Science Center is proud to announce the 2011 lineup for the Ford FREE FunDays program starting Jan. 28-29, with a 27-hour Weekend of Warmth FunDay in support of the WWJ Newsradio 950 Winter Survival Radiothon for THAW (The Heat and Warmth Fund).

Ford FREE FunDays offer complimentary general admission for visitors (up to 2 adults and 4 children per party) on select dates. Families can enjoy a variety of themed activities and demonstrations.

This weekend (Jan. 28-29) is the Weekend of Warmth, help low-income families stay warm this winter. Join WWJ Newsradio 950 and THAW for their annual radiothon and enjoy extended hours and theater shows at the Detroit Science Center. It kicks off at 3 p.m. on Friday and continue around the clock through 6 p.m. on Saturday.

Check the Science Center website for special evening IMAX Dome Theatre and Dassault Systèmes Planetarium show times. ($5 for one show, $8 for two shows on all FunDays.)
