myFOXdetroit.com - The Tigers will host the sixth annual ¡Fiesta Tigres! Celebration, sponsored by Miller Lite, on Saturday, August 20 to recognize and honor the contributions of Hispanic and Latino players to the game of baseball. Live mariachi, salsa, bachata, reggaeton, Cuban jazz and Mexican folklore music will be performed throughout Comerica Park.
The live music will compliment the décor of flags from Spanish-speaking countries adorning the park along with photos of past and present Hispanic and Latino Tigers players. The Tigers will also host 1984 American League MVP and Cy Young winner Guillermo Hernandez, who will be honored in a special pregame ceremony and will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

Live music begins at 5:00 p.m. with a variety of performers, including:
Mariachi Cora, performing songs of the renowned mariachi genre originating from Jalisco, Mexico at Gate A from 5:00-6:45 p.m.
Orquestra Sensacional, a seven-piece ensemble blending salsa and bachata melodies, will be performing at the Big Bat Court from 5:30-6:45 p.m.
Tumbao Bravo, a Cuban jazz group, will be performing at the FOX Sports Detroit Brushfire Grill from 5:30-6:45 p.m.
Grupo Fuego, performing tejano and cumbia music, will play on the mezzanine level between sections 215- 216.
Xochiquetzal Folkloric Ballet, performing folkloric dances from Mexico, will be at Gate B from 5:30-6:10 p.m.
They will also perform on the dugout during the seventh inning stretch.
DJ Tony Toca will be spinning the hottest Latino tunes at Gate B from 6:10-6:45 p.m. Los Primos, a Spanish guitar duo, and Uprizin, a Caribbean steel drum player, will perform for guests in the suite level lobbies from 5:00-6:45 p.m.
Current Tigers players with Hispanic or Latino heritage will be honored during an on-field, pregame ceremony beginning at 6:35 p.m. The Xochiquetzal Folkloric Ballet, El Baile Folklorico Estudiantil, Moyocani Izel and Ballet Maria Luz will perform on-field during the ceremony. Jorge Avellan from MyTV20 will provide Spanish-language announcing during the ceremony and Roxanne Chantaca will perform the national anthem.
The first 10,000 fans 21-and-over will receive "Quién es su Tigre?" Playing Cards featuring 2011 Detroit Tigers players, courtesy of Miller Lite. 5,000 copies of a special ¡Fiesta Tigres! edition of MiGente will be given to fans upon exiting beginning the seventh inning. The night will conclude with a special postgame fireworks show (weatherpermitting), presented by Verizon Wireless and AMP Radio, hosted by AMP Radio and Muevete
