myFOXdetroit.com - Pam Strauch and Karen Bourlier from Shades of Pink Foundation are in studio to talk about their October benefit kick-off.

Shades of Pink Foundation provides temporary financial assistance to women who are experiencing financial distress as a result of breast cancer.  Whether it's helping with a mortgage payment, the grocery bills, or an insurance premium, Shades of Pink Foundation is committed to easing the financial burden of a breast cancer diagnosis.

Lolly Ella Jewelry invites residents to join in supporting our neighbors going through treatment and recovery from a breast cancer diagnosis by by making donations to the Shades of Pink Foundation.

Lolly Ella Jewelry is a family owned and operated accessory store in West Bloomfield.  Giving back to the community is an important part of their business philosophy.

Throughout the month of October, residents may make a donation and have a "ribbon" displayed in store throughout the month of October.

Lolly Ella's benefit kick-off reception:
* Monetary donations of $1.00 or more will be accepted to have a ribbon with your name displayed in the store for the month
* Pink Ribbon Bracelet $8.50, 100% of proceeds will be donated to the Shades of Pink Foundation for the month
* 10% of proceeds from the day's sales will be donated
* $5 off $35 Purchase, October 1, 2011 only
* Refreshments will be served
* Guests may visit with a representative from Shades of Pink

Saturday, October 1, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m is the Kick-off Reception at Lolly Ella Jewelry, 6706 Orchard Lake Rd., West Bloomfield, 48322.
