The Henry Ford's annual "Salute to America" returns for its eighteenth year. The event features music, activities for the kids and concludes with fireworks as Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture" is played and a live canon is fired.
Performing will be the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, First Michigan Colonial Fife and Drum Corps, the Greenfield Singers, and the River Raisin Ragtime Revue.
Tickets are $27 for adults and $17.50 for youths. Children four and under are free. The is a $5 parking fee for each vehicle.
The event happens on Saturday, July 3 and Sunday, July 4 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. The Henry Ford is located at 20900 Oakwood Boulevard in Dearborn.
