An Amber Alert remains in effect Wednesday for a teenager who police believe is in serious danger based on the contents of a note turned over to them.. Some think 15-year-old Justin Wainwright was taken from his home by 18-year-old Josh Zohr.
A fun park located near Beck Road and I-96 in Novi has a connection to both young men. Paradise Park is owned by Wainwright's family and we're told that Zohr is an employee there.
The families have also created a Web site to help gather information that could lead to their safe return. It's called www.findjoshandjustin.com . The site shows pictures of Wainwright and Zohr.
Police say that Zohr abducted Wainwright sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning. The site also shows pictures of the red Pontiac Grand Prix that the two used to leave the state. According to authorities, they were last seen together in that car at a rest stop in the Dayton, Ohio area early Monday morning.
Although police said initially that they were concerned about Wainwright's safety, that is not the tone of the families' Web site. They simply say each young man is missing, but do not explain why they might have left.
If you have any information regarding this case, you are encouraged to contact the Plymouth Township Police Department.
