Monica Conyers Goes After Scott Lewis

HIGHLAND PARK, Mich. (WJBK) - Monica Conyers has said very little since she plead guilty to bribery charges and resigned from the Detroit City Council. However, she had quite a lot to say Tuesday to FOX 2's Scott Lewis.

Monica Conyers showed up for her weekly television show at TV 33 in Highland Park. Just minutes before the show was supposed to start, reporters were at the station waiting to ask her questions because she hasn’t answered any since pleading guilty to bribery charges last week.

Anytime you put a microphone or a camera in front of Monica Conyers, you just don’t know what she’s going to say. Tuesday was no exception as she tried to turn the tables on our own Scott Lewis.
