PONTIAC, Mich. (WJIBK) - They call it the most segregated day, the day people gather to attend Sunday church services. New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, a predominantly African American church in Pontiac, wants to change that. They invited members of the predominantly white, First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham, to join them.

"It doesn't matter about race and color or anything," said one churchgoer. Added another, "It is special to get the two churches together like this."
