Commissioned's Influence on Modern Gospel Music

(WJBK) - We're shining on a light on Commissioned, a group that used the music of modern time to change the sound of African-American gospel music.

In the early 80s, these Detroiters created a sound that has influenced gospel artists like Kirk Franklin. FOX 2's Lee Thomas went one-on-one with the group to talk about their journey to change the sound of gospel.
