SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -- There are some old and new ways that college students can go green while saving cash.
Many universities are adopting green ways for students to get their textbooks. It's all designed to help reduce the need for paper products and waste.
Students can buy used books, sell their old ones or even rent books they need for the semester.
Some professors even use e-books that eliminate the use of paper completely.
Websites that allow students to rent textbooks include eCampus.com, BookRenter.com and Chegg.com.
