(WJBK) - On the eve of the trial that will determine whether Terry Jones is able to carry out his planned protest, the controversial Florida pastor was live in studio for "Let It Rip."

For the very first time, Jones sat down and talked with Imam Hassan Al-Qazwini, the spiritual leader of Deaborn's Islamic Center of America.

So where should Florida Pastor Terry Jones be allowed to protest?

The answer to that question is the epicenter of an argument that's been placed in the lap of Dearborn city officials.

Do you let the controversial pastor, who gained media attention when burned a Koran to demonstrate against Islam, stage another demonstration in front Dearborn's Islamic Center for America?

The Koran burning by Jones in March of this year was followed by a protest in the northern Afghanistan city of Mazar-i-Sharif, culminating in an attack of a United Nations Assistance Mission, killing at least 12 people, including at least 7 U.N. workers, according to Afghan and United Nations officials.

Now the question: Should Jones be allowed to demonstrate on public property that is close to the Islamic Center of America?

Should he have stageD his demonstration in a so-called "Free Speech" zone? These are areas around city hall and the civic center.

Should he incur the cost of extra-security the city of Dearborn claims it needs to protect Jones and its citizens?

Should he able to demonstrate at all?

On the panel Thursday night:

Pastor Terry Jones - He supervised the burning of the Koran at his Florida church. And now he's here, to protest against what he calls "radical" Islam.

Imam Hassan Al-Qazwini - A scholar and teacher, a man whose family was imprisoned by Saddam Hussein. He is now the spiritual leader of the Islamic Center of America.

Rev. Ed Rowe - Pastor of Central United Methodist Church in Detroit. A man who has spent decades trying to build bridges between people of all faiths.

Charlie Langton - Attorney and Fox 2 legal analyst will help sort out all the legal issues involved in this dispute.
