SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -- The mayor of Detroit has already said he thinks the state should do more to help the city.
"I get lip service, but I don't get any specifics," Mayor Dave Bing has said.
What does Governor Rick Snyder have to say about that?
"We've worked on a lot of things together, so I don't view it as lip service," he said on "Let It Rip".
On the heels of his State of the State address, the governor is also dishing out more details on what he plans to do with the budget surplus.
"Someone shows up and asks you for money, do you just give them the money, or do you say how can we make sure that money's going to good use," Snyder explained.
Plus, we hear about a more personal side of Rick Snyder, including the back story on how he was bullied.
Huel Perkins, Charlie Langton and Charlie LeDuff joined the governor on this special edition of "Let It Rip". You can watch it by clicking on the video player above.
