This week on "Let It Rip" -- more fallout from the forced resignation of Detroit Police Chief Warren Evans.
"I've supported Warren and do think Warren made a positive impact on the police department, but I think he was compromised in some of the decisions that he's made that will leave him not to be able to lead his troops going down the road," Mayor Dave Bing said at a press conference Wednesday.
Now, Evans is fighting back on his Facebook page -- not hiding his romance with a fellow officer and complaining that politics lead to his firing.
Plus, the angry debate over control of Detroit Public Schools. Should the mayor take charge? Why the governor thinks the voters should decide.
"You would potentially be returning to a situation which was very unpopular where you had a Republican governor 'take over' the Detroit Public Schools. I think the citizens deserve the respect of making that decision," Gov. Jennifer Granholm said Wednesday.
Joining Huel Perkins on the panel to discuss these topics are Detroit City Council President Charles Pugh, Detroit City Councilman Gary Brown, political consultant Steve Hood and FOX 2 Legal Analyst Charlie Langton.
