DETROIT - His murder has gone unsolved for months. Now, Crime Stoppers needs your help to put the person who killed a devoted father behind bars, and the reward has been raised to $11,000 to help bring a grieving family justice.

38-year-old Wilburn Coakley left his Farmington Hills home to go to his job at Chrysler in Centerline. However, firefighters rushed to a warehouse along the Detroit River at Atwater and Orleans. Inside, there was an inferno. It was 6:30 in the morning on Wednesday, March 11, 2009.

Coakley and his Ford Explorer had been set on fire in an attempt to cover a crime. Before the fire, Coakley had already been shot to death.

"It was just crushing, earthshaking, and this has just changed my entire life forever," said his mother Marian Coakley. She is on a crusade to find her son's killer. Detroit Police are stumped as to how and why this happened.

Wilburn Coakley's love of his life was his ten-year-old daughter. His wife of 13 years is now raising the girl alone.

"It's going to be a very difficult Father's Day for my child and myself. He was just the top of the line when it came to being a spouse and a father," said Wilburn Coakley's wife.
