Fatal Stabbing at Fran's Road House

WARREN, Mich. - Employees at Fran's Road House in Warren made a disturbing discovery when they showed up for work on Wednesday. They found their boss and the bar's owner stabbed to death.

Friends and relatives are asking what could have possessed someone to commit this act. Frances Wolf was a mother of three who was loved by the entire community.

Police tape surrounds the parking lot of Fran's Round House on Mound Road north of Eight Mile. Customers are still in shock after learning the owner was stabbed to death.

Employees made the frightening discovery at about 5:00 p.m.

Friends tell FOX 2 someone robbed the business just a few weeks ago. They fear this same person or people behind that robbery may have returned to commit this murder.

"She's well known form the plants, Chrysler, General Motors. Everybody knows her. She does a lot of fund-raisers, so this is very tragic and is very devastating to the neighbors and the community," said one woman.

"Just crazy because she doesn't deserve that. She's a real nice lady. So, you wouldn't think somebody would stab her to death. I mean, if they just wanted to rob her, they should have just took the money and left," said Dave Lewis.

The crime leaves so many in this community praying for justice, hoping that someone will do the right thing and turn in a killer.
