myFOXDetroit.com Staff - Dozens turned out in Detroit on Saturday to learn more about adoption.
The event at Wayne County Community College is aimed at educating families about older, special needs children and siblings that are in need of a good home. Four hundred children are currently in foster care waiting on a permanent place to live.
The festival features workshops, children's activities and information from various adoption agencies. It's in its 21st year.
Fox 2's Roop Raj spent some time at Saturday's Kinship Adoption Festival.
