"Captivator" Debuts at Motorcycle Swap Meet

The Michigan debut of Ron Finchs newest motorcycle creation will be featured at The Giant Motorcycle Swap Meet at the Rock Financial Showplace, Sunday, March 29, 2009. Michigans own Ron Finch, who is a true legend in the world of custom motorcycles will unveil the: CAPTIVATOR.

Along with Ron, thousands of bikers and hundreds of vendors will be buying, selling, and swapping: bikes, frames, motors, touring accessories, seats, wheels, tires, front ends, tanks, shocks, fenders, gauges, MX stuff and take-offs.

Spring has sprung and bikers will arrive in droves clad from head-to-toe in leather and sporting bandanas, vests cluttered with pins collected from rides' or events from across the country and T-shirts that make a statement or prove "I've been there and seen that," says event director Chad Dutmers.

Giant Motorcycle Swap Meets, for the past 34 years, are famous for offering "everything for rider or machine"...for men and women who love to ride motorcycles and the lifestyle...whether it's street, dirt or touring. The hard-core biker or the casual rider will find what they need and at "swap meet prices."

When riding season arrives bikers begin the process of replacing worn, damaged or obsolete chrome, paint, seats, parts, tires and apparel. You don't find these items at the mall; you find them at the Giant Motorcycle Swap Meet.

The swap meet will feature the largest collection of motorcycle vendors under one roof in the Midwest. Cyclists attending will see new 09 bikes as well as used bikes - street, dirt, metric, touring, cruising, trikes, choppers, custom bikes, and trailers.

Thousands of motorcycle buyers are expected to pack the 130,000-plus square foot exhibition area from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $3 for ages 6-12. Car Parking is $5. The Rock Financial Showplace is located at 46100 Grand River Ave in Novi and can be accessed using three convenient exits off I-96 - exits 159, 160 or 162.
