SHELBY TWP, Mich. - Angry residents showed up Wednesday night at a town hall meeting in Shelby Township, to protest a proposed property tax increase.
FOX 2's Andrea Isom has the story, which you can watch in the video player to the left.
The Macomb County Board of Commissioners has proposed a property tax hike, and that has some homeowners really upset.
They organized a protest outside the commissioner's town hall meeting, where they waved signs and chanted. Then they voiced their concerns during the meeting, saying that it was unfair to raise property taxes while property values continue to drop.
