Man Robbed By Ladies He Met at Casino

MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. - A Farmington Hills man thought he was getting lucky at the casino. Two ladies wanted to go with him back to a hotel room, but the man's luck was about to run out.

This was an embarrassing and dangerous situation for the man. He didn't realize the party was over until he was at the Econo Lodge.

Asking us to conceal his identity, the 27-year-old tells a painful story. It began with winning $150 at the MGM Grand Casino in Detroit. Then a pair of real life jokers entered the picture, telling him they wanted to party.

"She (said), 'I got to go find my friend and I'll come back. Just wait over here for me," said the man.

Temptation led to trouble. Late Monday night, the victim and "Candice" and "Brittany," as they called themselves, stopped into an Econo Lodge on Stephenson Highway south of 14 Mile Road.

After watch some television, the two twenty somethings convinced the victim to undress and jump in the shower.

"One of them, she (came) with me and she (said), 'Open the water.' I opened the water, and that other one, she said, 'Can I enjoy, too,'" the victim said. "I (said), 'Yeah, okay.'"

Now for the record scratch.

"She pulled a gun on me. They took my money. They took my Social Security number. They took my (driver's) license, and they took my phone," said the man.

He called 911 from a phone in the room. The suspects initially followed the victim to the motel in their blue Dodge Stratus, and it's the same vehicle in which they left. They got about $200.

The victim says they were not prostitutes since money was never discussed.

"They are armed and dangerous, as far as we are aware at this point, and they should be treated as such," said Madison Heights Police Lt. Corey Haines.
