myFOXDetroit.com Staff - A tip in Detroit put a murder suspect behind bars.
35-year old David Adams Jr. was hit and killed by a stray bullet back on March 16th at the corner of Littlefield and Chalfonte. Police say he took two bullets while trying to his protect his 13- year old autistic son who was siting on the porch at the time.
Family members say the arrest of 28-year old Rashod Brown gives them closure.
A citizen led police to the 20000 block of Wyoming two days ago where they found Brown. He has since been charged with first degree murder and faces up to life in prison.
Police say there has been a cultural shift when it comes to the citizens of Detroit lately.
Interim Police Chief Ralph Godbee says people are sick and tired of being bullied around and that they want to reclaim their streets.
Fox 2's Al Allen attended a press conference on Wednesday morning that announced Brown's arrest.
