myFOXDetroit.com staff - Chrysler is celebrating the official opening of its new training facility.
World Class Manufacturing Academy is located inside the United Auto Workers Chrysler Tech training center in Warren.
Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel says not only is it a good thing for Chrysler it's also a positive for the community. "This gives me an opportunity to take this world class facility and talk loud and proud about it being in Macomb County and in particular the city of Warren. I"m excited about this facility and many other things that are happening with the auto industry," Hackel said.
The academy features hand-on labs with touch screen walls and table tops, all designed to help keep employees learning.

About 12-hundred people a year are expected to participate in training sessions. WCM is a methodology developed by Fiat in 2005.
