myFOXdetroit.com Staff - An update to FOX 2 Investigative Reporter Rob Wolchek's story from July 13,2011 .

From a Chrysler Press Release:

From the Fox 2 story on Chrysler Group’s Trenton Engine Plant, the Company was able to identify nine employees captured on video. To date, all nine employees have been suspended indefinitely without pay pending further investigation. While the evidence seems conclusive, the Company needs to act in accordance with corporate policy and the terms of the collective bargaining agreement before further action is taken. The investigation is ongoing.

Wolchek got a call from two different workers inside Chrysler's Trenton Engine Plant telling him they don't want to work with people who have been 'partying.'

Following the phone calls, Fox 2 video captures workers a mile from the plant, but just steps away from a United Auto Workers hall, drinking and smoking before heading to the plant to work a shift.  VIEW THE STORY, CLICK HERE>>

The story from last week follows an investigation from ten months ago, when Wolchek revealed how some workers at the Chrysler Jefferson North Plant in Detroit spent their lunch hour drinking beer. ( see story )
