DETROIT (WJBK) - More than half of Detroit's police officers and firefighters currently live outside the city.
However, before asking the rank-and-file to come back, Mayor Dave Bing might first ask his own appointees to do the same.
FOX 2's Charle LeDuff has the story in this video report.

Following this report, we received word Tuesday from Karan Dumas, the mayor's spokeswoman. She said, "We are gathering all information related to the residency of Jerome Warfield, which will be submitted to the Law Department for review and a recommendation. Thereafter, we will determine what steps, if any, must be taken."
