Illnesses Closes Some Area Schools

In Michigan, 34 schools are now closed because of flu-like illness, including some in metro Detroit.

In Washtenaw County, Huron Valley Catholic School is closed for the rest of the week.  More than 30-percent of students are currently out sick.

In Monroe County, the Dundee schools are also closed for the rest of the week.  However, Thursday's health department clinic will still go on as scheduled.  We're told all schools will re-open Monday, November 9 after a thorough cleaning.
