(WJBK) - Billionaire bridge owner Manuel "Matty" Moroun is still out of jail, but for how long?

A Michigan Court of Appeals ruled a judge acted within his power to jail Moroun and aide Dan Stamper last month.

The two men will appear back in court Thursday. In the meantime, the judge can redefine what the men must do to stay out of jail in the future.

Morouna and Stamper were put behind bars after being found in contempt for failing to finish work on the Gateway Project at the Ambassador Bridge.

They were ordered to stay in jail until the project was complete, but a pending appeal got them out - for now.
