DETROIT (WJBK) -- It doesn't matter who you are or who you know, if you have a medical emergency in the city of Detroit, chances are your call for help will arrive late.
No one knows this better than the police themselves. They told FOX 2's Charlie LeDuff they believe it's better for them to transport the sick and injured instead of waiting for an ambulance.
