Custody Battle Brews Between Same-Sex Couple

A same-sex custody battle leaves a local woman devastated.  It's a case that could go all the way to the Supreme Court.

Rene Harmon and her former partner ended their relationship in 2008. Over their 19 years together they shared a home and started a family through artificial insemination. Harmond says her ex carried all three children, a girl and two boys, but now she's with someone else and Harman is no longer allowed to see the kids.

She says she hasn't seen the three children she helped raise in more than 6 months.
