'Sex Dungeon' at One of Bob Bashara's Properties?

GROSSE POINTE PARK, Mich. (WJBK) -- A shocking new twist in the murder case that's captivated metro Detroit and the country. Sources confirmed for us that throughout their investigation they learned in the basement of one of Bob Bashara's properties there was a sex room, an S&M room, and one that he frequented quite a bit.

"We wish to thank the hundreds and hundreds of supporters and people who have shown their love and respect for my Jane," Bob Bashara said on Wednesday.

He shed tears as he spoke out about the loss of his wife, Jane, whose body was found strangled in the back of her SUV on Detroit's east side one week ago.

However, some question the sincerity of his outpouring of grief after learning about a life he lived on the side.

"I know Bob Bashara," said Rebecca Delodder.

She lives across the alley a stone's throw away from Bashara's property on Mack near Nottingham. Delodder claims for the last few years, she has witnessed people coming and going from what sources have said was an S & M den in the basement below the Hard Luck Lounge. The stairs taking many to a room filled with whips and chains, a bed, TV and dressers. A room where some would go to have sex with random people.

"Last summer to maybe a couple years ago there were people always going in and out down in that basement. Somebody told me he had an S & M thing going down there," Delodder explained. "People dressed up. They would be dressed up in different black outfits ... A couple times there I saw somebody coming up out of there in the morning, but most the time it was kind of late at night."

"What about Bob Bashara? Did you see him come in and out of there?" FOX 2's Taryn Asher asked.

"Yes," she responded.

Sources said it was a woman who came forward and first informed police, showing investigators pictures of what was referred to as a "sex dungeon" and a forum where frequenters would discuss it on the internet.

Coincidentally, on Wednesday the Hard Luck Lounge officially moved out, but at one point an employee told Delodder what they saw when they looked over a wall that separates the basement of the bar to the alleged seedy sex lounge.

"In the basement and they had peered over into his area and that that's what they saw, whips and chains," said Delodder. "I said that makes sense. I wasn't surprised."

Delodder told us she saw this sort of traffic going on for about two years and that seemed to end around late summer/early fall.
