Authorities say a single-engine private plane has crashed in southeastern Michigan's Lenawee County, killing the two people on board.
Sheriff's Cpl. Conway Linger said the crash about 4:30 p.m. Friday in a wooded area about two miles north of Adrian in Raisin Township killed a man and woman from Pennsylvania believed to be in their 50s. The victims' identities aren't being released until family is notified.
Linger said police have received information that the plane was coming to Adrian from Pennsylvania and the people were coming to visit relatives in the area.
Authorities were expected to release more information Saturday.
A message was left by The Associated Press with the Federal Aviation Administration.
