Family Discovers Frog in Bag of Lettuce

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. - A family's trip to the grocery store ended with a wild discovery when they found a frog in their bag of lettuce.

Tracy Grimes of Sterling Heights tells FOX 2 that after she returned from Kroger in Sterling Heights last Friday, she discovered the frog as she was about to make a salad for her kids. "It's alive and it's just moving around," said Grimes.

The family says Kroger representatives asked them to mail back the package with the frog inside, but considering a trip through the mail could kill it, the Grimes' decided to take the creature's picture and set him free.
