U-M Hospital Took Months To Notify Police About Child Porn

ANN ARBOR (WJBK) - Stephen Jenson, who was a resident physician at the U-M Medical Center, is now charged with possessing child pornography.

Last May, a female resident noticed the child porn on a flash drive in the pediatric emergency department lounge.

Days after she told investigators, she says she was informed the matter was closed.

Fox 2 has learned the hospital didn't report the case to university police until November.

The U.S. Department of Education is now investigating the delay.

Jenson will be in court Feb. 16, when a judge will decide whether there's enough evidence to send him to trial.
