Water Main Repairs to Impact 3 Communities

The Detroit Water and Sewerage Department says repairs to address a leak on a 42-inch water main are expected to directly impact Keego Harbor, Sylvan Lake and portions of West Bloomfield Township.

We're told residents may experience low water pressure on November 4 & 5 while repairs are being done.

The department is also asking residents and businesses in these communities to prepare for possible interruption of water service from 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4 through 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 5.

According to the water and sewerage department, Keego Harbor will be supplied with water through emergency connections to Orchard Lake.

If residents have questions about the repair work, they are asked to contact their local water department.
