Why are you running for office?

I don't want our children to have move away because there's no opportunity in Michigan.

What is the biggest problem facing Michigan residents today and how would you solve it?

Michigan needs jobs. I'm a small business owner who's created jobs. I know what works and what doesn't.

What's a better solution: finding revenue or cutting costs to meet Michigan's public education budget? How would you do it?

Cutting costs. Taxpayers cannot afford to pay more during a recession. Administrative overhead can be cut and district services can be consolidated to allocate more resources to the classroom and for teachers.

What's the best way to create jobs for Michigan residents?

Eliminate the Michigan Business Tax and simplify the tax code. Bring business regulations in line with neighboring states.

After you leave this earth, what will they say about you?

He was an honest guy who was true to his principles.
