But whenever he's on TV, some people cringe. They say no one really knows who this clean-cut, gun expert really is.

For starters, he's had several personal protection orders filed against him from ex-wives and a former girlfriend.

They say this leader of an "open carry" movement is a man who shouldn't have a gun at all.
